Great with some must-fix bugs

Love this game, but there are bugs that inconsistently impact state. For example, I increased health at a fountain and used an item going into battle. In battle the fight crashed. I can live with that, but when starting the app after the crash the fountain is used, the item is gone, and my health is at pre-fountain levels. So Im impacted beyond the crash because Im returned to a game state that never existed.

Update: three times now the game permanently hangs on the first screen to continue a saved game. When I tap continue the screen almost fades out and I can see the big "V" flickering. Killing the app doesnt help. I have to start over to play. Dropping from 4 to 2 stars.
